The phrase “my two cents” is often used to humbly share an opinion. Today, I’m asking for yours—because the future of McAllen depends on it.

For years, I’ve worked to challenge bad actors and push for real progress—sometimes publicly, sometimes behind the scenes. Through it all, one thing has never changed: my commitment to truth and integrity, even when it’s unpopular.

Let’s be clear: our city is not in a massive state of disrepair. But there are serious threats and challenges ahead—issues we must address now to seize the opportunities before us.

I’m talking about:

✅ Smarter water management

✅ Efficiency, lower costs, and better services

✅ Lower taxes

✅ Law & order in our increasingly unstable border region

✅ Boeye Reservoir development

✅ Better traffic flow

Tough conversations need to happen. Tough decisions must be made. I am ready and willing to take them on.

After over 30 years in office, I commend my opponent for his dedication. But with all that time, many of the changes McAllen needs still haven’t happened. The challenges ahead demand new leadership, new ideas, and real action.
